Director | Head Builder
Whitley began his career in the building industry in New Zealand, where he gained years of hands-on experience across a wide range of residential construction projects. His dedication to quality workmanship and attention to detail has become the foundation of everything he does.
Now a QBCC licensed builder, Whitley’s passion for building and creating exceptional spaces led to the launch of Payne Co. From small renovations to large scale projects, he takes pride in delivering high quality results and ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.
Hayley
Director | Operations & Administration
Hayley is the one behind the scenes keeping Payne Co organised. From scheduling jobs, preparing quotes and invoices, coordinating projects, and managing our social media and marketing, she makes sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
If she’s not behind the computer, you’ll probably find her dropping coffees to site, chasing the boys for progress photos, or sending the daily reminder to “don’t forget your timesheets!” Every now and then she’ll swap the office for the tools and get her hands dirty - but only when the boys need a backup (or some proper supervision 😜
Thomas
Helping Hand
Originally from a concrete cutting background, Thomas has since discovered a passion for the building industry and is always eager to learn something new. Whether he’s lending a hand on site, keeping things running smoothly, or tackling whatever the day throws at him, he’s always happy to jump in and get the job done.
When Thomas is on site, you’ll usually find his sausage dog, Sunni, not too far behind. As Payne Co’s unofficial site supervisor, Sunni takes her role very seriously making sure everyone gets plenty of pats and keeping a close eye on the day’s work.
